How We Do It:

1. We believe in your talent, potential and resourcefulness:

We know that disability, neurodiversity, or medical conditions can influence the way you think, act and innovate, and we celebrate this!

Coaching provides a safe space to explore your unique strengths and skills, then build bespoke strategies that work for you specifically, helping you achieve the success you deserve!

We use a non-directive coaching approach, which means we don’t give you advice. This is because scientifically-robust coaching studies have shown that developing your ability to formulate decisions from within your own thinking can be much more effective and long-lasting than following the advice of others.

This is what makes our coaching such a life-changing form of professional development. It fosters confidence, self-belief, and shows you that you can create practical, authentic strategies that yield results. This is also how our work endures beyond your immediate challenges, delivering life-long learning that serves you beyond the end of your coaching package.

2. We can adapt to your learning style and work with any goal:

We know how to tailor our approach to suit how you learn best. This could be through open and explorative conversations, more structured and outcome-focused methods, creative or analytical exercises, and psychometrics - in any combination. Our work is informed by a broad toolkit of evidence-based coaching methods, acquired via coaching training with the University of Cambridge.

Whilst we specialise in working with topics and goals relevant to disability, we also know that a goal or challenge might not always be about disability.

Our clients often tell us that working with a coach with lived experience helps them feel safe and understood on a deeper level and more quickly— because we get it! This builds trust in our working relationship that helps you make progress efficiently and effectively, to the benefit of your career, business, and your wallet!

3. We understand the additional barriers of disability:

Coaching in its purest sense is about the bridging of a gap between where the person being coached is now, and where they would like to be instead. We recognise the unique pressures of living as a disabled person in a society not physically built for us, and where misconceptions prevail, creating additional barriers to success. We know this personally because we too have a lived experience with disability.

  • Acquired disability: this can be a difficult and confusing time, grappling with the change, grieving old ways of working and learning how to adapt to different ways of working due to new barriers to success.

  • The impact of a new environment: For those already experienced with disability, the demands of a new role or project, or a new team might have you in need of new strategies when those tried and tested strategies no longer deliver the results you need.

  • The desire to build your own business: You might be also starting your own business for the first time, a lot of us do (actually 25% of entrepreneurs are disabled) because you want to work int ways that meet your unique and specific skills and help you control the management of your needs too. Many disabled entrepreneurs also find ways to build a business that provides a solution in the market they wish they had access to— we are excellent innovators and problems solvers after all!

Why We Do It:

Disabled people and their families are a powerful and valuable part of our society - we get that - we see you!

  • The disabled population makes up the largest minority group in the world.

  • Representing 16% of the global population, that’s 1 in 6 of us!

  • In the UK alone, 24% of the working-age population have a disability, 1 in 4 of us!

  • Disabled people are the only minority group anyone can transition into at any time, whether through illness, injury, or the natural process of ageing.

  • 80% of disabilities are acquired during working age.

  • When you extend beyond a disabled individual, and include people with a disabled loved one in their life, the stats show that disability is a common part of the human life experience.

The disabled community is also a vital part of the economy.

  • In the UK, disabled people and their families control £274 billion in spending power, with this figure rising at 14% per year.

  • Globally, that spending power reaches a staggering $13 trillion, with disabled individuals themselves contributing $1 trillion in disposable income annually.

If you are disabled yourself, you already get it! If you are an individual, entrepreneur or small business owner that is here to better serve the disabled community, you can see just how large an opportunity this can be for your business.

Who We Help?

  • You could be a disabled person working for an employer, an entrepreneur, a small business owner, self-employed or freelancer.

  • You could be a person with a disabled person to care for outside of work, wanting to work on your career or business goals with someone that understands how care responsibilities can impact professional progress.

  • You could be a non-disabled business owner or entrepreneur that wants to better serve disabled people with your products or services - that’s smart as we are a HUGE market!

Why Group Coaching?

For many disabled people, isolation can be a significant barrier—whether in traditional workplaces where they may feel overlooked or in their own businesses where they are often working solo which can limit support and connection. Group coaching offers a unique solution by creating a safe, inclusive space where participants can share experiences, learn from one another, and build a sense of community.

This program provides an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who understand the complexities of balancing health, work, and life. Through guided coaching, participants can develop practical strategies, gain fresh perspectives, and draw strength from a network of peers who 'get it'—all whilst being supported by a coach who understands the additional barriers faced by disabled entrepreneurs and employees as well, as they too have a lived experience of disability.

In need of a slower pace?

We know that life and health can sometimes need a slower pace—if this resonates with you, our six-month version of the program offers the same valuable support, spread over a longer period to allow for more reflection and gentle progress. If this option appeals to you, please get in touch, and we’ll let you know when a new group is forming.
